BACKGROUND: From a personal service for domestic households to commercial purchase for hotels, we have a depth of experience in sourcing classic collections of crystal glassware, chinaware and cutlery from renowned manufacturers. Personalisation in the form of family marks or commercial logos can be arranged and goods are always checked locally before despatch.

AOS Resource consolidates deliveries from individual suppliers, document and carefully package according to transit method. A keen eye to detail and the utmost care in packaging and handling are essential to ensure all goods arrive on time and in pristine condition.

LOGISTICS: Coordinating collections of luxury goods from various suppliers for discerning clients requires a higher level of personal service. The tasks are different when coordinating a major shipment for a new luxury hotel, but no less challenging. Neither scenario is a stranger to AOS Resource. The scale of commercial projects can be intimidating – one notable recent shipment consisted of 41 standard pallets of Tableware, weighing a total of 15 tonnes and moved via airfreight to Saudi Arabia. The shipment comprised thousands of individual items of hundreds of different product types, all sourced from different suppliers. We are proud that, once again, the shipment was safely received on time, with accurate documentation and exactly as specified.

The AOS Resource dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is no idle boast, and demands care and commitment at all stages. The research, planning and clear communication are as important as the physical activities – in this case many weeks of product/supplier research preceded detailed specification and price negotiation. Samples of all items, with logo designs, were obtained and shipped to the customer for approval. Liaison between client and suppliers ensured that any required modifications were clearly documented so that the final orders and invoices were correct in every detail.

Delicate products of high value to be shipped internationally, whether by air, land or sea, inevitably require careful attention to packing. Providing an extra layer of protection is always preferable to receiving a client’s report of delivery damage – AOS Resource’s aim is never to have to ship replacement goods.
